RWJ Integrated Health Care

RWJ Integrated Health Care (RWJIH) is an Independent Practice Association, whose services are available to the physicians of the Robert Wood Johnson Health System. RWJIH provides education and experience to participating physicians and offers a clear path from fee-for-service reimbursement to value-based reimbursement, promoting coordination of care and the functions and processes necessary for clinical and financial integration, in order to be prepared for the future of health care delivery.

Mission Statement

The Mission of RWJ Integrated Health Care, LLC (RWJIH) is to forge a collaborative effort among the RWJ Health System (RWJHS), Rutgers RWJ Medical School, and RWJIH participating physicians to provide coordinated, high-quality, and patient-centered services to purchasers of health care in Central and Northern New Jersey.

Vision Statement

RWJIH aspires to be a recognized leader in achieving the “Triple Aim” of health care reform by improving the health of the populations its serves, enhancing the patient experience of care, and reducing the per capita costs of health care. While pursuing this Vision, RWJIH will seek to foster greater alignment with community-based physicians, expand the continuum of care, and serve as a bridge to greater physician participation in the Robert Wood Johnson Partners ACO.

RWJ Integrated Health Care
