Christina Askew-Panarella, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Christina Askew-Panarella earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pace University in 2016. She went on to graduate Cum Laude from Salus University with her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) in 2022.
Dr. Askew-Panarella completed her clinical rotations in a variety of settings including the Pennsylvania Ear Institute, SUNY Downstate Medical Center-University Physicians of Brooklyn, and her fourth-year clinical residency with ENT and Allergy Associates.
Before becoming a clinical audiologist, Dr. Askew-Panarella was the Newborn Hearing Screen Manager at NYU Langone Hospital for several years where she fell in love with audiology. It was an amazing opportunity that allowed her to give thousands of babies in the New York area their very first hearing test. She considers it a privilege to be a part of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital team where she can now administer many more hearing evaluations, but this time to patients of all ages to help identify, assess and manage disorders of hearing and balance.
Dr. Askew-Panarella has experience in all areas of diagnostic as well as rehabilitative audiology, including management of hearing loss with hearing aid technology and cochlear implants. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, including administering vestibular testing to patients experiencing dizziness symptoms.
Dr. Askew-Panarella is a licensed audiologist in both the state of New York and New Jersey.
