Innovative Technology Provides Interpreting Services on Demand
RWJBarnabas Health recognizes that diversity and inclusion are essential for the overall health of our patients, employees and surrounding communities. We believe that when you bring together all backgrounds, including different languages, beliefs and experiences, those unique perspectives provide potential ideas, solutions and strategies that, when mobilized, can help advance the overall health equity of the people of New Jersey.
Language Access Services
At RWJBarnabas Health, we provide timely language access to our patients and their loved ones who have limited English proficiency. We provide free language services, including qualified interpreters, to people whose primary language is not English. Language Assistance Services information is provided in multiple languages.
As safety is our number one priority, we deliver accurate and consistent interpretation services, ensuring that communication with each person is effective and reliable. We make sure the line of communication is clear between our patients/families and the doctors, nurses and staff.
Please inform us upon arrival if you need an interpreter.
