Erin Caroll DemlerErin Carroll Demler is a board-certified physician assistant and instructor with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Following graduation, she was selected to train in the Physician Assistant Surgical Residency program at Yale School of Medicine and Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. Prior to joining RWJMS, she worked as a physician assistant in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery in Manhattan.

Erin works directly with plastic and reconstructive surgeons as part of their clinical and academic practice. She assists in the operating room and is directly involved in the clinical care of their patients before and after surgery. She is particularly interested in breast and nipple reconstruction, helping women achieve exceptional results. She is certified in nipple and areolar 3D tattooing and currently offers this procedure as an option for patients undergoing breast reconstruction.
