Child Abuse Treatment

Compassionate Care for Victims of Abuse in New Jersey

Abuse typically has long-lasting effects on the victim. Even after removing yourself or your child from the unhealthy situation, the physical and psychological effects can last for a lifetime. At our children’s hospitals, we are dedicated to helping families and children who have been victimized by physical abuse, sexual abuse or neglect. Our team uses evidence-based mental health practices to counsel patients in a compassionate, culturally-competent manner.

Helping Families Heal

Overcoming the trauma of abuse is a process, one that requires compassion and patience. We provide family education programs in addition to therapeutic services designed to help patients come to terms with events and begin healing. Our team of physicians, social workers, and psychologists are experts in the field of child abuse.

We have a close relationship with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DP&P) and other state and community organizations dedicated to helping victims of abuse. Our goal is to help your child take the necessary steps to move forward so you can start looking towards the future with a clean slate.
