Patient Advocate

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway is committed to providing quality care in a compassionate manner. If a patient or visitor has any concern related to care, safety or service, we encourage them to bring it to our attention through our Patient Advocate program. Among other services, a hospital Patient Advocate ensures patient rights are upheld by:

  • Promoting patient rights and responsibilities
  • Acting as a liaison between patients and hospital staff
  • Working to resolve complaints and grievances
  • Assisting in securing interpreter services
  • Assisting with patients’ special needs
