Patient Advocate
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway is committed to providing quality care in a compassionate manner. If a patient or visitor has any concern related to care, safety or service, we encourage them to bring it to our attention through our Patient Advocate program. Among other services, a hospital Patient Advocate ensures patient rights are upheld by:
- Promoting patient rights and responsibilities
- Acting as a liaison between patients and hospital staff
- Working to resolve complaints and grievances
- Assisting in securing interpreter services
- Assisting with patients’ special needs
