Unit Based Councils
The Unit Based Councils are unit level shared governance councils and committees designed to discuss ways to improve the individual units and address ongoing issues. The Nursing Practice Council is a forum where the chairs of the Unit Based Councils come together to provide one another with input and feedback on shared decision making topics related to clinical practice standards, quality improvement, staff professional development, and research. The Nursing Practice Council provides informative goals of nursing in alignment with organizational goals and feedback.
