Through our partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute – the state’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and universally recognized for its scientific leadership – we offer patients access to the most advanced treatment options including immunotherapy, precision medicine and clinical trials.
Researchers from Rutgers Cancer Institute have made outstanding scientific contributions towards the national goal of reducing the incidence of cancer and improving the outcomes for cancer patients. Rutgers Cancer Institute conducts basic, clinical, translational and population research through five comprehensives research programs comprised of faculty who form cohesive, interdisciplinary groups supported by peer-reviewed grants and Rutgers Cancer Institute shared resources.
With this partnership, the shared goal of both RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute is to develop centers of excellence across the state; invest in clinical, academic and research innovations; educate health professionals; and improve health through coordinated patient outreach, prevention and treatment of the disease.
