Radiation Oncology

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ has been a pioneer and leader in radiation oncology in northeastern New Jersey since 1968.

We operate one of the largest cancer treatment programs in New Jersey and serve as a regional referral center. Each year, the Department of Radiation Oncology treats more than 1,000 cancer patients.

State-of-the-Art Technology

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center has a large array of sophisticated, state of the art technology for treatment imaging, planning and delivery.

We are leaders in the field of radiation as we were the first in New Jersey to offer TomoTherapy, a revolutionary way to treat cancer with radiation. We were also the first in the state to offer prone positioning for breast cancer treatment and selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT). In addition, our commitment to offering the latest technology led to the introduction of our CyberKnife® program in 2016.
