An Affiliate of RWJBarnabas Health

When a small group of Newark church members decided to care for Miss Eliza Titus in 1865, it would have been impossible to predict the stunning eventual implications of their commitment. Now, 140 years later, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center can look back with pride at a tradition of compassionate care to all, and anticipate with excitement a future filled with continuing medical breakthroughs, innovative technology, and high-quality care - always respectful of human dignity.
