Visiting Hours at New Brunswick Campus

Flu Visitation Guidelines

During flu season only siblings, grandchildren and children of the patient will be allowed to visit. No other visitors under 16 are allowed. All visitors who have a cough or respiratory illness are encouraged to visit on another day for the safety of loved ones. If an immediate family member presents with a cough or respiratory illness must visit, they will be asked to wear a mask while in the hospital.

General Guidelines for Visitors

Visitors make a hospital stay more pleasant and are important to your recovery. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick encourages visits but must regulate visiting privileges in order to give you time for essential rest.

Daily Visiting Hours

Daily visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Baby Suites

General visiting hours in the Baby Suites are from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Note: Two guests in addition to Significant Others & Siblings are allowed.

Significant Others are allowed in the Baby Suites at any time.
Grandparents, Siblings over 18 are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Labor & Delivery

Fathers, Significant Others, Grandparents are allowed at any time.
