Visitor & Guest Parking at the New Brunswick Campus

Parking Alert: The Hospital Parking Deck will undergo construction beginning January 5, 2026.

During this time:
A new traffic pattern will be in place
Approximately 30 parking spaces will be temporarily closed during the construction phase
Construction is expected to continue through Summer 2026

RWJBarnabas Health offers a variety of parking options for our patients, visitors and guests at our academic medical campus in New Brunswick.

Valet Parking Services Are Available at Five Entrances

We are pleased to offer valet parking services for your optimal convenience while visiting our campus. Services are available at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) main lobby entrance, outside of the Emergency Department, in the lobby of The Bristol Myers-Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH), at the Ambulatory Medical Pavilion and at the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, 15 Division Street entrance.

Hours of operation and addresses at each of our five locations:

  • RWJUH Main Lobby entrance, One Robert Wood Johnson Way, New Brunswick: Monday to Friday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    BMSCH Lobby entrance, 200 Somerset Street, New Brunswick: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • RWJUH Emergency Department, One Robert Wood Johnson Way & Little Albany, New Brunswick: 24 hours, 7 days a week

  • Ambulatory Medical Pavilion, 210 Somerset Street, New Brunswick: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, 15 Division Street entrance: Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Self parking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parking Deck Options

We also offer four self-pay parking deck options. The parking decks are available to patients, visitors and guests 24 hour a day, 7 days a week.

  • Main Hospital Parking Deck, located adjacent to the hospital
  • Plum Street Parking Deck, located on Plum Street
  • Paterson Street Parking Deck, located on Paterson Street and across from the Clinical Academic Building
  • Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, located at the Hardenberg St. Garage (GPS address 15 Division Street)
