Saint Barnabas Medical Center Chosen as the 13th Best Hospital in the United States

AARP Modern Maturity Magazine ranked Saint Barnabas Medical Center as the 13th Best Hospital in the Nation and the Best Hospital in New Jersey. Consumers’ Checkbook, a nonprofit consumer education organization rated the quality of care for adults at more than 1,300 acute care hospitals and placed Saint Barnabas Medical Center in the top one percent in the nation. In the company of some of the most prestigious hospitals in the country, such as Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Saint Barnabas Medical Center outranked renowned centers such as the Cleveland Clinic and Massachusetts General.

Results were based on mortality rates for Medicare patients, 20,000 physician surveys, accreditation scores and physician training programs.
