Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) is a newer form of radiation treatment where a high dose of radiation is localized to the brain. SRS is used for both benign and malignant tumors. This type of treatment performed in only one session. SRS is used to treat trigeminal neuralgia, acoustic neuroma, atriovenous malformation and recurrent gliomas.
