Caring May Mean NOT Visiting!

It's flu season. Based on increasing flu admissions and outpatient visits, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is instituting restrictions on visitors beginning Friday, January 3.

Siblings, grandchildren and children of a patient will be allowed to visit regardless of age, however, no other visitors under the age of 16 will be allowed.

Special Restrictions

  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — no visitors under 16 years of age from October through April
  • Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit (BMTU) — no one 14 years or under is allowed to visit

If you have a cough or respiratory illness:

For the safety of your loved ones, please visit on another day.

If you are immediate family and must visit, you must wear a mask for the entire time that you are in the hospital.

All visitors:

Please clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before and after your visit.

During flu season, siblings, grandchildren and children of the patient are permitted to visit regardless of age. No other visitors under the age of 16 are allowed.

Thank you!
