Infusion therapy is a key component of any cancer treatment plan. It typically involves the administration of medication through a needle or catheter, but also includes other non-oral routes, such as intramuscular injections and epidural routes (into the membranes surrounding the spinal cord). The therapy includes the use of:
- Chemotherapy
- Biological, monoclonal antibody therapy
- Blood products
- Supportive supplements
A prescription from your doctor is required.
Our outpatient infusion centers provide state-of-the-art services and amenities to offer the latest technology as well as maximum patient comfort all across New Jersey.
They have many private rooms, each with a television to allow patients an opportunity for relaxation during treatment. There is also a three-person suite for brief visits.
Our centers are staffed by experienced nurses.
