Your Kidney Transplant Options

When patients come to our facilities for kidney transplant solutions, they get the options they deserve. Transplant candidates meet team members, talk with previous transplant recipients, and learn about more about the procedure at educational sessions.

One of the most important things patients will learn is that donated kidneys either come from a deceased donor or a living donor. Both options offer the same outcome for patients, but a kidney donated from a living donor typically works faster, and sometimes lasts longer.
