Eastern Regional Burn Disaster Consortium (ERBDC)

Eastern Regional Burn Disaster Consortium

The Burn Center at Cooperman Barnabas has joined together with twenty-six (26) burn centers located from Maine through Maryland, including the District of Columbia to form the Eastern Regional Burn Disaster Consortium (ERBDC). A first of its kind in the nation, this Consortium ensures continued quality burn care despite a large catastrophic burn event.

The mission of the ERBDC is to develop and implement standardized mass casualty response efforts, focusing on communication, transportation, education and resource-sharing among participating burn centers.
