Lactation Consultants
Two lactation consultants work in the NICU. They spend their days in the unit helping moms with breast pumping, breastfeeding and kangaroo care. They also visit the postpartum unit and give classes for postpartum patients. The lactation consultants also lead a weekly support and education group for NICU parents.
