Pulmonary Services
Pulmonary medicine encompasses treatment of breathing disorders; lung disease; abnormal pulmonary vascular disease; neuromuscular diseases, such as multiple sclerosis or muscular dystrophy, that could affect the lungs; and sleep-disorder breathing.
When patient’s lungs aren’t functioning properly, they often require coordinated treatment across medical and surgical specialties. To facilitate the most advanced lung care for adults, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (formerly Saint Barnabas Medical Center) offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care and education.
