Breast Cancer Leadership

Members of the Cancer Committee at Community Medical Center monitor, evaluate, and continually improve the clinical, educational, and operational performance of the Breast Center.

The committee leads the interdisciplinary breast cancer conference and reviews prospective patients’ cases which include presentations and discussions of American Joint Committee on Cancer staging, prognostic indicators, treatment planning using evidence-based treatment guidelines and options for clinical trials participation.

Physician members of the Breast Leadership Committee include Dr. Sumy Chang, breast surgical oncologist; Dr. David D’Ambrosio, radiation oncologist, Dr. Chirag Shah, medical oncologist, Dr. Jessica Taff, medical oncologist, Dr. Horace Tang, medical oncologist, Dr. Russell Ashinoff and Dr. Stephen Small, plastic surgeons.

The Breast Cancer Leadership Committee

The Breast Program Leadership Committee exists to continually improve and evaluate the services and outcomes of the Community Medical Center Breast Program.

The committee monitors and evaluates clinical, operational, educational and community outreach performance of The Breast Program and develops, implements and evaluates goals and plans for the center in addition to other responsibilities.
