Our integrated cancer care model includes New Jersey’s largest network of specialists, comprised of a multidisciplinary team of nationally recognized surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, interventional gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, nurses, oncology nurse navigators, and oncology support professionals. As New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, Rutgers Cancer Institute, together with RWJBarnabas Health, provides patients access to complex surgical techniques, clinical trials, precision medicine, immunotherapy, and sophisticated radiation therapy techniques.
We are one of only two programs in New Jersey to offer blood and marrow transplantation and CAR T-cell therapy and are home to the state’s only hospital-based proton therapy center. We also are the highest volume pancreatic cancer surgery program in New Jersey.
