The role of the LGBT Health Navigator is dedicated to ensuring that LGBTQIA patients are able to successfully navigate all resources available to them. Consider an LGBT Health Navigator as a personal concierge who can address your concerns and guide you through information regarding available services and next steps.

The LGBT Health Navigator focuses on:

  • Health promotion
  • Patient concerns
  • Advocacy and outreach
  • Disease prevention
  • Innovations
  • Counseling referrals
  • Community referrals

In addition, the LGBT Navigator interfaces with hospital and clinical leadership to ensure that the full spectrum of patient needs and services are addressed and delivered seamlessly.
