Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus together with Rutgers Cancer Institute, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, provides a full range of diagnostic and treatment options for all stages and types of cancer.

These advanced treatments are enhanced with exceptional support services including oncology nursing and navigation, nutrition counseling, home care, rehabilitation, social services, pastoral counseling and hospice care to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and family members.

Lung Cancer Screening

While the most common symptoms of lung cancer include chest pain, weight loss and a persistent cough, most people don’t experience any symptoms until the disease has reached advanced stages. Learn more

Outpatient Infusion Unit

The Outpatient Infusion Unit at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is committed to personalized, quality care and education. Our experienced registered nurses are specialized in oncology and chemotherapy and provide the best care for our patients.

Our semi-private and private rooms provide a home-like atmosphere with reclining chairs and flat screen televisions to make your time with us as comfortable as possible.

Oncology Rehabilitation

The Oncology Rehabilitation program at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus is available to all cancer patients and survivors, whether you are newly diagnosed, currently undergoing chemotherapy or long finished with treatment. We are committed to helping you live your best life and getting you back to the daily activities that are most important to you.

Our Oncology Rehabilitation program and team approach will help decrease pain and frustration and allow you to regain your independence with a customized plan to address and treat your symptoms.

Oncology Support Program

The RWJBH Oncology Support Program provides support for the physical and emotional concerns of individuals affected by cancer. From diagnosis through treatment, recovery and survivorship, we provide members with support, education, hope, and encouragement as a part of a community of others who are facing treatment and survivorship together. All programs are free and open to all RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute patients.

Please note: The All Cancers Support Group is now being offered in person at Community Medical Center in Toms River, in person at the Anne Vogel Family Care & Wellness Center in Eatontown, and virtually via Zoom.
