About People, Belonging and Impact at RWJBarnabas Health
People, Belonging and Impact
The Corporate Office of People, Belonging and Impact (COPBI) is committed to strengthening RWJBarnabas Health’s Total Wellbeing Promise through the development of mission-driven initiatives in alignment with the system’s six pillars of wellbeing: physical, emotional, career, financial, personal and community. The COPBI partners with teams across the health system to address the unique needs of its workforce and communities.
- People reflects our focus on our employees, patients and partnerships, working closely with HR to create an environment where our employees thrive—because the wellbeing of our communities starts with each of us.
- Belonging represents the environment we cultivate through the demonstration and belief in our core values — kindness, compassion, empathy, curiosity, excellence, empathy, accountability, respect and teamwork.
- Impact underscores both the measurable results of our core programs and the broader influence of our collective work.
Connecting Through Employee Networks
Business Resource Groups (BRGs)
At RWJBarnabas Health, employee wellbeing includes feeling seen, supported and connected. That’s why we are proud to offer nearly 60 Business Resource Groups (BRGs) for all system employees. These employee-led BRGs give all RWJBarnabas Health colleagues spaces to connect, support one another and grow professionally—all part of our system-wide commitment to total wellbeing.
Membership is open to everyone, including RWJBarnabas Health employees and Sodexo employees, and each group helps strengthen our connection as one system, one family. To join or for more information, contact your facility’s Office of People, Belonging and Impact lead.
Current employees can find additional information, a list of RWJBarnabas Health BRGs and related programs and events on The Bridge.
