The Jersey City Medical Center Foundation exists to support the vital services and programs at Jersey City Medical Center. We are fortunate to have the support of literally thousands of donors and friends who make philanthropic contributions and selflessly give their time to keep our community healthy.
Below are some Mission Moments made possible through the tremendous support of our very generous community. We could not do it without you.
On Tuesday, October 28th, hospital staff and community volunteers came together in a spirit of kindness and teamwork to pack more than 500 comfort kits for our patients in the Emergency Department. Each kit was filled with thoughtful items meant to bring a little comfort and care to patients during a stressful time. It was a wonderful day of connection and generosity, showing how much our community truly cares for one another. This effort was made possible through the incredible generosity of our Hudson Gives donors.
On Monday, October 6th, Jersey City Medical Center hosted its 28th Annual Golf Classic at the stunning Liberty National Golf Course. The sold-event event welcomed hospital vendors, business leaders, community members, hospital leadership, and friends from across Hudson County and beyond for a day filled with camaraderie, purpose, and community spirit. Together, we raised a record-breaking $402,665 in support of JCMC’s vital programs and services. The day-of proceeds will directly fund the purchase of vouchers for turkeys, helping provide warm holiday meals to 1,250 families in need throughout Jersey City this Thanksgiving. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors and every attendee who made this incredible day possible. Your continued support helps us further our mission and make a lasting impact in the lives of those who rely on us for their care. It truly was a remarkable day – celebrating not only the strength of our community, but also the mission that unites us: building and sustaining a healthier New Jersey.
The Foundation recently welcomed Samiksha, a freshman at McNair High School, to the Pediatric Emergency Department at Jersey City Medical Center. With a heart full of compassion and hands filled with beautiful crocheted gifts, Samiksha provided joy and comfort to our young patients – brightening their day in the most meaningful way.
A heartfelt thanks to the Northern New Jersey Chapter of Project Linus who crafts and donates homemade blankets to support pediatric patients in behavioral health, the Emergency Department, the NICU and labor & delivery. So far this year Project Linus has donated over 300 blankets to our patients.

“For the past 3 years, Jersey City Medical Center Oncology has been the recipient of the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, a partnership with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Subaru.
Hudson Subaru identified Jersey City Medical Center Oncology, to deliver 80 custom blankets and encouraging messages of hope to the patients in our care. Patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation are wrapped in the warmth of the community upon receiving this generous and heartfelt gift.”

Our heartfelt thank you to our generous donors who support JCMC’s 2024 Annual Toy Drive. The Foundation of JCMC is deeply grateful for the incredible toy donations from our corporate partners – Hudson County Community College Nursing Program, Royal Bank of Canada, Goldman Sachs, China General Chamber of Commerce, Bank of China and Whole Foods Market JC.
These wonderful gifts have brightened the lives of many in our community, bringing joy to children and comfort to those in need.
