Volunteer at Jersey City Medical Center

Make a difference! Volunteers are an essential part of the JCMC family. Volunteering is a way for you to give back to the community, serve with a dedicated and caring team, develop new skills, and support the best healthcare close to home.

Ways to Volunteer:

JCMC Auxiliary:

Join the JCMC Auxiliary to help raise funds for hospital programs and services.

Hospital Volunteers:

Volunteers extend the services and care at JCMC through patient-related services and clerical areas. Most volunteers contribute at least one shift of 3 to 4 hours per week. Opportunities are available in all departments of the hospital except the pharmacy.

Event Volunteers:

JCMC participates in several third party events throughout the community. These volunteer opportunities usually require minimal commitment.

Corporate Wellness Program:

The Jersey City Medical Center Foundation Corporate Wellness Program is a philanthropic network of corporations that support JCMC’s mission to invest in premier healthcare for businesses and residents in Hudson County. Read more here.

Emerging Leaders:

Emerging Leaders is a new group of professionals and health advocates dedicated to supporting the hospital through philanthropy and community engagement. Its members work together to raise awareness of and funds for Jersey City Medical Center. To learn more, contact the Foundation Office at (201) 395-7570.
