Institute for Prevention Parenting an Athlete

Parenting an Athlete is a resiliency based 5 session parent skills training program for parents of children ages 11-18 involved in sports or considering involvement.
- Designed to provide parents with skills and information to be a better parent and role model to their child
- Create a structure for positive communication
- Help reinforce bond with child
- Help parents clarify their personal beliefs and values with regards to sports, substance abuse and life
Program is FREE
Refreshments and weekly incentives provided
