Navigating the Journey: Parts of the Individualized Education Program
About this session:
Attendees will learn about Special Education Law with an emphasis on the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, specifically focusing on documenting the supports and related services the student is entitled to, along with the proper drafting of appropriate goals and objectives.
With an emphasis on the level of educational supports to be provided to ensure the maximum results for the student. Common pitfalls to be avoided and collaborative advocacy tips will also be discussed. Attendees should walk away feeling prepared to advocate for their child and secure an ironclad IEP.
