Your Safety is Our Priority

At Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, safety is our priority. We are a QOPI Certified Cancer Center. Our Radiation Oncology Center has overlapping safeguards in place to protect our patients receiving treatment. The multi-disciplinary team approach includes board-certified radiation oncologists, PhD physicists and certified dosimetrists. This team reviews the plans of each and every patient before the first treatment is delivered. The machines are checked daily, monitored and measured before any individual receives treatment for that day. The department is accredited by the American College of Radiation Oncology.
