Noël Kohler, M.S., CCC-SLP

Noël Kohler, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a nationally certified and state-licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), pediatric feeding therapist & certified lactation counselor (CLC) who works for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Her professional focus is helping families by assessing and treating their infant and children’s communication and feeding skills. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Speech- Language Pathology from a medically oriented graduate program, New York Medical College, where she was elected President of the NYMC Chapter of the National Student Speech- Language- Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders & Deaf Education from Utah State University. She has advanced post-graduate training in pediatric feeding, including the Sensory Motor Approach to Feeding, the SOFFI Method, the Sequential-Oral-Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS), the Get Permission Approach to Feeding, behavioral feeding strategies and more, including the gold standard in swallowing instrumentals: Langmore Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) Certification & Modified Barium Swallowing Impairment Profile (MBSPImP). When not working with clients, you can find Noël experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen, traveling with her husband or playing with her daughters!
