Katie LaBarbera, MA, CCC-SLP, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and her Master of Arts degree from Montclair State University. Katie is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)-certified speech-language pathologist, licensed in the state of New Jersey. With a passion for helping children find their voices, Katie is a dedicated pediatric speech-language pathologist with diverse experience across school, private practice, and outpatient settings. She has had the privilege of working with children with a wide range of communication needs, including expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, articulation and phonological challenges, fluency disorders such as stuttering, apraxia of speech, and craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate. Her clinical background also includes supporting children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and genetic conditions such as Down syndrome. Katie is committed to delivering evidence-based, child-centered care and strongly values interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive support for every child. Believing that meaningful progress begins with connection, she emphasizes the importance of involving parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process to support functional, everyday communication. Her goal is to empower families and help children communicate confidently in their daily lives.
