Our Advanced Life Support Simulation Lab provides hands on training and experience. Our instructors can automate the manikin response through a computerized system that mimics a real life scenario. The system allows the instructor to alter the scenario based on the providers’ course of treatment. The instructors have the ability to record the session to review the student’s performance. We currently have three types of simulation manikins. The Laerdal SimMan is a full simulation manikin, the Laerdal AirMan is a difficult airway management simulator, and Laerdal VitalSim is an advanced airway and vital sign simulator.
