Graduation Requirements

PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

General

  • Achieve ASHP Residency Competency Areas, Goals and Objectives (CAGOs)
    • Minimum of 80% Achieved for Residency (ACHR) of all required CAGOs
    • If not ACHR, then must achieve Satisfactory Progress (SP)
  • Completion of initial and quarterly development plans
  • Completion of all PharmAcademic evaluations
  • Completion of all required ASHP solid organ transplant topic areas (direct patient care experience and/or case-based application)
  • Fulfill staffing requirement

Projects and Presentations

  • Research
    • Abstract submission to either ATC or ISHLT and subsequent poster/oral presentation if accepted
    • Manuscript eligible for publication
  • Continuing Education (CE) Presentation

Conference Attendance

  • ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting
  • ATC or ISHLT Annual Meeting
