Hospital Affiliations Bio Dr. Mistry graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and obtained his medical training at St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City which was then followed by a career as an Adult Hospitalist in Nyack, NY before moving on to his Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Mistry was the Chief Fellow with a strong focus on research which led to him finishing his fellowship with a substantial number of publications.
After fellowship, Dr. Mistry joined JFK Medical Center as an Intensivist and quickly moved on to become their Acting Director of the Intensive Care Unit. With an academic career focus, he has since joined SBMC as a staff Intensivist and is currently in charge of Research and Education division of Critical Care and looking forward to Bldg on the high academic standards.
