NEWARK, NJ (September 20, 2023) Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, hosted its Annual Ray Murphy Men’s Health Night on September 11, 2023 at the Cedar Hill Country Club. Approximately 226 men were in attendance at the event, the highlight of which was a panel discussion on health and wellness issues moderated by special guest host, George Martin, Captain, 1986 NY Giants Super Bowl XXI Champion.

The panel of men’s health experts from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey included Jose Bustillo, DO, Internal Medicine Specialist; Patrick Oczkos, MD, Psychiatrist; Russ Bergman, DMD, Vice Chair and Program Director of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s Dental Residency Program; Domenico Savatta, MD, Urologist, who focuses on treating enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, and other urologic cancers through robotic surgery; Smruti Mohanty, MD, MS, Gastroenterologist and Director of the G.I. Program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center; Eric Chan, MD, Urologist with the Essex Hudson Urology Group; and Matthew Montgomery, DO, MBA, MPH, Cardiologist with the Advanced Heart Failure Treatment and Transplant team at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, one of the top 15 programs in the nation.
