New location provides access to intensive and highly specialized services to improve the quality of life for children
Union, NJ (October 25, 2021) – Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, opened the doors of its newest outpatient center located at the Kenneth Esdale Pavilion at 2840 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ on Monday, October 25. The opening of this 66,000 square foot facility is a critical step in expanding access to intensive and highly specialized services to improve the quality of care for children with special health care needs throughout New Jersey.
As the preeminent provider of specialized health care for infants, children and young adults, Children’s Specialized Hospital has seen an increased demand for outpatient services as rates of emotional, developmental and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents continue to rise. The Union facility, which encompasses all outpatient services from both the CSH Warren and Mountainside locations, enhances program offerings to meet the growing needs of area children in one convenient location. Additionally, the facility’s central location on Morris Avenue, and its proximity to major highways and bus routes, makes access to CSH’s unmatched programs and services easier.

- Therapy Services: Audiology, Neurorehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology and Speech & Language Therapy
