Hospital’s Annual Fundraising Event Held Virtually in Support of Patients and Employees
Belleville, NJ – Clara Maass Medical Center, a facility of RWJBarnabas Health hosted a virtual Wine Tasting Event, A Tasteful Experience from Home to support the critical needs of its patients, families and ‘health care heroes’.
The event, which was held as the Medical Center’s fall fundraiser was attended by more than 140 employees, physicians, donors, board members, community leaders and other friends and supporters, and resulted in raising $100,000 which will support the critical needs of our patients and staff at Clara Maass Medical Center.
The event was held virtually in lieu of an in-person event due to current restrictions limiting large social gatherings related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and featured a live host from Clif Family Vineyards in Napa Valley, California.

Each participant in A Tasteful Experience from Home received a virtual wine tasting box with three bottles of wine from Clif Family Vineyards and a selection of bites to complement each wine selection.
General Surgeon Robert Brautigan, MD and his wife, Lourdes participated in the virtual wine tasting fundraising event, A Tasteful Experience from Home in support of Clara Maass Medical Center.
Participants in A Tasteful Experience from Home received three bottles of wine from Clif Family Vineyards including: 2017 Napa Valley Chardonnay; 2017 The Climber Bordeaux Blend, 2017 Napa Valley Petite Sirah and a selection of bites to complement each wine selection including: Clif Family Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Clif Family Organic Plum Preserves, and Clif Family Solar Grown™ Cacao Honey Spread with rustic bakery crackers.
