Today, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, made history as one of only six hospitals in New Jersey to receive the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, launching its COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic.
“My heart was pattering a little bit… but once you got the shot it was fine,” said Anthony Patten, Jr., PA-C, Assistant Director, Hospital-based Providers/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant, our first #HealthCareHero to volunteer for the vaccination. “I think this is the right thing for us to do, not only for ourselves but for the patients.”
