Four time cancer survivor, Andrea J. Gleason, who was treated at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, shared her inspiring story at a kick-off press conference held at Barnabas Health in West Orange in April. The event was hosted in recognition of Barnabas Health's volunteer recruitment efforts in the American Cancer Society's Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) -- an historic nationwide study to help researchers better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer.
