Your Sinus Cancer Care Center

Paranasal sinus and nasal cavity cancer occurs when cancer cells form in those areas.

Most of these cancers are squamous cell carcinomas, which form in the cells that line the sinuses and naval cavity.

There are also other types of sinus cancer including melanomas, which start in melanocytes; sarcomas, which originate in connective tissue and muscles; midline granulomas, which form in the middle part of the face; and inverting papilloma, which are benign tumors that form in the nose and can develop into cancer.
