The Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at Jersey City Medical Center is comprised of highly skilled Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Audiologist. We provide services to patients of all ages who may have physical, communication, cognitive, and functional limitations and disabilities.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

Our strong, dynamic, experienced team work collaboratively to provide evaluations, treatment, and education. They provide individually designed treatment programs for all patients spanning from neonatal to geriatrics based on a comprehensive evaluation. Treatment is focused on improving patient's functional status to the highest level and restoring/maintaining ability to complete activities of daily living.

Our team works closely with physicians, nursing, case management, and other ancillary staff to provide each patient with an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. Education is provided to patients and family members to meet the patient's specific needs and prepare for discharge.
