Inflammatory bowel disease, also called IBD, is an umbrella term for a group of conditions that cause swelling and inflammation of the tissues in the digestive tract; the most common types include ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Join physicians from Monmouth Medical Center’s (MMC) Gastroenterology Team and the New Jersey Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, for a discussion on IBD and supports available. Youth ages 6 – 12 will be invited to take part in hands-on cooking demonstration with our registered dietitian while adult participants connect with physicians to learn more about disease management and care.

Sign-in begins at 5:30 p.m. This program is open to individuals of all ages.
