Campaign to Transform Community Medical Center

Did you know that Community Medical Center (CMC) is embarking on the most transformative campaign in CMC’s history to support a series of ambitious projects that will enhance how care is provided in the hospital and in the community?

What will this Transformation include? The Master Facility Plan includes significant renovations of the Emergency Department and other units and enhancements of Outpatient Services. Most exciting, we have become a teaching hospital, bringing Graduate Medical Education to CMC.

This Transformation will result in wide-ranging positive impact on patient services with consistent delivery of quality care.

How Can You Help? It is important to make sure people are aware of the exciting changes happening at their local hospital. We are here for you, your families, and your employees. Please contact the CMC Foundation at 732-557-8131 to learn more about how you can help to support our CMC Transformation.

CMC Welcomes New Medical Residents

The Future Takes Flight at CMC

CMC celebrated the completion of a new rooftop helipad with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 11, 2021. For patients who require a higher level of care, the new helipad will speed up their transport. Previously, patients would need to be transferred via an ambulance to meet the helicopter crew in the park across the street, a process that could take 30 minutes. Patients are now one elevator ride away from their flight.

As we look back on 60 years of caring for our community, we have so much to celebrate!

Fundraising for the mission of Community Medical Center is more important than ever.

A multi-million dollar Emergency Department renovation currently underway, and the addition of a rooftop helipad, a medical residency program, and hub locations throughout the region are all part of Community Medical Center’s plans to continue to grow and diversify with the population we serve.
