What to Expect

We are glad you have chosen Children’s Specialized Hospital for the best pediatric specialized health care available. We are committed to meeting the needs of your child.

Please note that as we continue to provide family-centered care at CSH, every six months we complete a Social Determinants of Health screening with parents. The screening includes questions related to food concerns, housing, and transportation issues in an effort to identify needs and link families with community resources. Currently, we are screening families of existing patients with follow-up appointments scheduled at our Clifton and Newark sites, as well as families of inpatients and residents of long term care. Parents may elect to opt-out of this screening.
