Holecek, Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer of RWJBarnabas Health, has been named among Becker’s Hospital Review’s 153 Hospital and Health System Chief Nursing Officers to Know for 2023. The list honors chief nursing officers for their commitment to optimizing health care. They leverage their clinical expertise and leadership experience to oversee nursing departments, launch novel initiatives and maintain outstanding patient care outcomes.

As Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Ms. Holecek oversees a nursing staff of more than 11,000 individuals. She leads the system’s nursing initiatives in strategic planning, fiscal decisions, patient satisfaction, care coordination, and quality. Ms. Holecek has enhanced health care quality and education while continually advancing the nursing profession within RWJBarnabas Health and throughout New Jersey. Her contributions have enabled the system to set the standard for excellence in nursing care and develop one of the most influential programs in New Jersey.

Instituting new policies and programs, Ms. Holecek has fostered an environment that encourages professional development, the pursuit of research, and service among the system’s nursing professionals. Ms. Holecek is dedicated to building and sustaining a nursing workforce that reflects the diverse communities RWJBarnabas serves. Her efforts have led to numerous recognitions for excellence, both personally and for the programs she oversees.
