Judi Dawkins was dedicated to making sure the community’s health care needs were being met. To ensure that this focus would live on, the Dawkins family made a transformational leadership gift to support Monmouth Medical Center’s Women’s Services. Now The Judith W. Dawkins Women’s Health Program is being expanded to the RWJBarnabas Family Health and Wellness at the Monmouth Mall, a new facility dedicated to the health and well-being of women and children in our community. Because the Dawkins’ gift also established The Judith W. Dawkins Ambassador of Excellence Award, we were honored to make the award seal a permanent part of our Family Health and Wellness building. The inaugural award was presented to immediate past foundation chair Ann Unterberg, who together with her husband Tom made a transformation gift in 2013 to name the Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center.
