West Orange, NJ, October 6, 2020 – RWJBarnabas Health has been recognized by ECRI, an independent trusted authority on health care practices and products, with a 2020 Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award. The prestigious award honors health care organizations that demonstrate excellence in supply chain spend management.
Now in its ninth year, ECRI’s Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award recognizes members for comprehensive utilization of supply chain solutions and for employing industry-leading approaches to health care supply chain and value analysis. Winners are selected based on rigorous quantitative and qualitative assessments of member engagement with ECRI’s services. The qualitative component focuses on overall leadership and performance in supply chain, value analysis, and capital equipment procurement. Members fitting these criteria demonstrate a proactive approach to supply chain that includes yearly engagement with decision makers and continuous search for new ways to enhance their supply chain processes.
