Ronald Nahass, MD, has been honored by the Infectious Diseases Society of America with the 2020 Watanakunakorn Clinician Award. This national award, announced this week, recognizes Dr. Nahass’s outstanding achievement in the clinical practice of infectious disease.
The Watanakunakorn Clinician Award is given to an IDSA member in recognition of outstanding achievement in the clinical practice of infectious diseases. The recipient must be in clinical practice, spend at least 75 percent of his or her time in direct patient care, and exhibit excellence in clinical care, patient or community education, patient advocacy, general community service and service to a national or state infectious diseases society. Your outstanding contributions to infectious diseases and your accomplishments demonstrate your commitment to the field.
