The Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton has partnered up with Wig Elegance, who works primarily with hospitals and cancer patients, to enrich the Holistic Program offered to cancer patients. The Holistic Program at the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton, offers numerous mind, body and spirit building services to the cancer patients and their families. Wig Elegance has 4 store locations, Yardley and Philadelphia, PA and Mount Laurel and Sewell, NJ. The salon at the Cancer Center displays wig designs and products provided by Wig Elegance. Some of their products include specialty hair care products to wash and style wigs throughout wear, and eyebrow and eyelash product that can be used by patients before they begin chemo and/or radiation. These products help to keep eyebrows and eyelashes in place.
One of the patients, currently receiving treatment at the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton, went for a consultation with Wig Elegance. She said, “I was highly impressed with the level of customer service and graciousness stylist, Maureen, provided. Maureen was patient, kind, and thorough when explaining each of the wigs and care products.” The salon took the time and paid close attention to all details to provide the best services for the patient. The patient said, “I will be back to see Maureen to get another wig for a different style.”
The Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton is excited to partner with Wig Elegance and provide these services free of cost to their patients.
